GREAT NEWS!!!! I had an email from 'The Bishop' earlier in the week, letting me know CUSP have a new singer. Her name is Laura, and is currently working away in the studio with the band writing a whole host of new songs. They're still looking for a drummer, so if you're from the Leicester area, please get in touch, then we can persuade them out of the studio for a few gigs. More details to follow later.

Still no news on the CUSP front I'm afraid. As far as I know, Ping & Andy do still intend to make things happen, but whether under the guise of CUSP or not remains to be seen.

However, the web site has had a bit of a change, as I've uploaded two new songs on to the Sounds page. These being Charming Manipulator & 200 Hangovers. I'll be looking to converting some of my live concert recordings in the future, so if you have any requests for tracks let me know.

Following Lee's departure into ventures new, Sally has also announced her disicion to leave the band. Sally has finished her teaching degree and is now a qualified teacher. Unfortunately for CUSP and fans alike, Sally has found it hard to give the band her full concentration since entering her first year of teaching. We all wish her well, and no doubt we'll still keep in touch.

Sorry I haven't had time to report the news, but be reassured this doesn't mean the end of CUSP. I had a great chat with the Pingster today, and I'm pleased to say that Andy and Ping have been in the studio with John Meredith, working on a whole bunch of songs both old and new. Lee may even be making a studio appearance (other commitments permitting).

Andy and Ping are in the process of auditioning singers and drummers, and are willing to hear from anyone in the Leicester area who would be up for a bit of fame and fortune. Send tapes or contact info to the following address: CUSP Auditions, 156 Avenue Road Extension, LE2 3EJ.
